In the Azure portal, create a new app registration.
Provide a name for the app and select the 'Accounts in any organizational directory' option.
Note the following details:
Application (Client) ID
Directory (Tenant) ID
Create a new token and secret. Be sure to note the Secret Value, as it will only be shown when created.
Inside of your newly created App Registration, select the API permissions tab, and add the following permissions.
Azure Service Management ( user_impersonation )
Microsoft Graph ( User.Read )
Power BI Service ( Capacity.ReadWrite.All )
Once setup is complete, provide the following details to the BI Portal team for final integration:
Start/Stop Application (Client) ID
Start/Stop Directory (Tenant) ID
Start/Stop Secret Value
