Power BI Embedded Capacity Information

This guide helps you link the BI Portal to your Power BI Embedded Capacity using Microsoft Azure, enhancing data access and management.

Power BI Embedded Capacity Information

Please provide the Power BI Embedded Capacity name, Resource group, and Resource name

This can be found under The Power BI Embedded Capacity of Azure, to enable BI Portal to access your embedded capacity.

Necessary Details

Once setup is complete, provide the following details to the BI Portal team for final integration:

  • Resource Group

  • Resource Name

  • Subscription ID

Assign rights for the stop-starter

Navigate to access control on the left-hand menu and select role assignments

Add the security group and the start-stop service to the roles as a contributor
